Byron Bay shopping – A little Byron luxe for your home and lifestyle

Byron bay shopping – those three words make us jump for joy!

We might be a little biased but we think Byron Bay Shopping is some of the best in the world. Vintage, Island luxe, Bohemian, Hippie chick, Surfer Gal, Classic –whatever your style or preference, you’ll find it here.

But while we all know and love the big clothing brands that hail from these parts – Spell, Arnhem Clothing, Goddess of Babylon, Amilita – there’s so much more than clothes to Byron. We love pretty and we think you might too, so take a look at our favourite Byron Bay shopping spots. Pop these places on your list for your next Byron Bay shopping spree, and bring a little bit of Byron Luxe back to your hometown too.

The byron bay trading company – 2a/1 byron st, byron bay

We vote yes to rainbow-hued macramé hammock seats, and to strappy woven tote baskets big enough to carry your beach towels, your book, and a picnic treat or two. Foodies will love the kitchenware – take home your own cold-press hand operated juicer by Lurch, or a Betty Bossi brand veggie twister to make your own spiral ‘spaghetti’. Or choose one from their range of elegant teapots. You’ll be reminded of this divine place every time you sip.

Ha’veli of byron bay – 1/5 centennial circuit (byron arts & industrial estate) byron bay

A little bit of wrist love is very Byron Bay and Ha’veli of Byron Bay, in the Arts and Industrial estate, has just the thing – a tribal coin and cowrie shell combination in either bracelet, necklace or anklet style. We’d suggest buying two or three bracelets, and wearing all that arm candy together. The twinkling sound of shells and coins tapping together will send you straight back to marvellous hippy land.

The beach people

Round towels are VERY Byron Bay and on trend too. Two local girls, based out of Tweed Heads about 30 minutes north of Byron Bay, are behind The Beach People. Their team is leading the way, with cool designs showcasing tribal patterns, ocean colours, and evoking memories of Indigenous art. The Tulum is our favourite – white on black, a mandala of ovals, reminiscent of seedpods you’ll find in the area.

Byron at byron resort and spa– 77- 70 broken head road, byron bay

We’re being a little sneaky and sending you to the resort shop on a not-so-secret mission to pick up a bottle of Sanctum’s certified organic shampoo and conditioner. This vegan, all natural, happy product smells delicious and is a real treat for sun-drenched hair. Sanctum is a local producer, using medicinal grade herbal and plant extracts, essential oils and certified organic raw materials. Treat yourself to a tube of Sanctum Body Spa and Sanctum Body Soothe too! This is Byron Bay in a bottle. But if you are feeling self-indulgent or need pampering while you are in town, we suggest booking a spa treatment at Byron at Byron too. This place rates among the best in Byron.

Cobblers at byron – shop 5 feros arcade, byron bay

Hidden in a little arcade just off Lawson Street in Byron is this local’s gem. You would be hard pressed to find a local who hadn’t at one stage or another bought a pair of shoes from here. Byron Bay dwellers are fond of their Birkenstocks, and here you can buy slip-on toe-thongs, sandals, classic two-bar sandals, stylish single bar sandals, and for those who prefer a Birkenstock that doesn’t look like a Birkenstock, there’s the Toe and Ankle strap version.

Super comfy- if you’ve never had a pair of Birkenstocks, we suggest you make a purchase and take them home with you today.

The farm, byron bay – flowers at the farm – 11 ewingsdale road, byron bay

As you head into town from the highway, you’ll see The Farm, a year-old “working farm” project and venture that has quickly become a hit with locals and tourists alike. Our favourite shop here is Flowers at the Farm, with the most beautiful of florist-styled posies and bouquets.

They also stock Byron Bay Candles – elegant glass jars filled with eco-soy wax, a mix of high quality fragrant and essential oils, vegetable based dyes and cotton wicks. The coconut and lime candles are truly Byron Bay and make a lovely gift too. (When your candle has gone, why not fill the jar with your tangible memories of Byron too- a scoop of silky sand, a shell or two, a pinecone and seedpod, a feather, and perhaps a wish to return too?)

Try a muffin or cake from the Bread Social for morning tea while you are here. One word – scrumptious.

If you’re looking for your nail polish fix while you’re in Byron, you can find Sienna in a couple of different Spots. Nami, Stoked and Go Vita stock us in town, as well as Byron Beauty Bar who can give you a perfect Sienna manicure while on holiday.

Sienna xx
